The New York Knicks

Welcome, to another one of my favorite basketball teams. This team has had many pitfalls throughout its career. The members of the Knicks used to be known as and are probably still known as the KNICKERBOCKERS. I think that I was a little to young to remeber those years but from what I hear this name originated from the fact that they used to fight a lot during there basketball games.

For a few years now they have been prety well reserved with the fighting. But just a few weeks ago the Knicks had beef with the Lakers. Kobe Bryant and Chris Childs got into a BRAWL! The majority of the sports casters and maybe even myself was shocked to see that Kobe would end up being suspended for one game due to fighting. chris Childs was suspended also. I guess that's just part of the game. The Knicks are also know for usually getting into fights with the Miami Heat.
